SubSentry is a subscription tracking app that helps you manage and monitor your recurring payments. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
The short version: SubSentry does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside of your device. Ever.
When you use SubSentry you may enter:
All of this information is stored exclusively in your device’s local storage using an on-device database (Hive). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself using the app’s built-in export feature.

There is no SubSentry account, no sign-in, and no server that receives your data.
SubSentry may send you local push notifications (e.g. upcoming renewal reminders, trial expiry alerts). These are generated and delivered entirely on your device by the operating system. Notification content is never transmitted to any external server.
SubSentry uses Sentry for crash and error reporting. If the app crashes, anonymised technical information about the crash (such as a stack trace and device OS version) may be sent to Sentry’s servers to help diagnose and fix bugs. This data does not include any subscription information you have entered. You can review Sentry’s own privacy policy at sentry.io/privacy.
The app provides an optional CSV export feature. Exported files are saved to a location you choose on your device. SubSentry does not send exported files anywhere — sharing the file is entirely at your discretion.
You can delete all app data at any time using the Wipe Data option in Settings. Uninstalling the app from your device will also remove all locally stored data.
SubSentry does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data is collected at all, there is nothing specific to children to address.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be included in the next app release with a revised “Last updated” date.
